While it’s the ability your body has to gather, process, and deliver oxygen, endurance is commonly confused as the most important or necessary aspect of being fit.
While there is no mistaking that endurance IS extremely important, the common endurance athlete’s training costs them speed, power, and strength. This is why we train endurance in multiple ways! From the common cardiovascular modalities (running/rowing/biking/jumping) to gymnastics AND weightlifting; every workout you do in CrossFit will increase your endurance in some way. Period.
Now, go run around with your kid on your back better than you did before!
