About Jared Case



What is your favorite CrossFit memory?

As a coach: watching others discover the value in the little things and consistency and having that, then, translate into the big milestones (self confidence, PR lifts, gymnastic firsts, etc.)


As an athlete: discovering enjoyment in the process of improving (as a type-A, results-driven person, this discovery was a big deal). It’s slowly making its way into my life outside of the gym, too!  

 

When you’re not in the gym, what do you like to do?   

I’m a big music and sports fan. I enjoy going to concerts and games and I collect and listen to vinyl records. I also enjoy cooking (and eating), making cocktails, and visiting breweries. I have two girls under ten and watching them grow and develop into their own is very cool.

 

What is your favorite CrossFit movement or lift?

Wall Balls and Double Unders

 

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Chicken Parm Spill!

 

Why are you a CrossFit coach?

It’s really challenging to shut off the self critic in our heads by ourselves. I love coaching because it’s an opportunity to help others learn how to shut off that self critic and to help them discover a mental and physical potential they may not know or believe is there…yet.
