As time goes on, it’s even more important to train and improve the control we have on our body’s center of gravity in relation to it’s support base.
Consistently only training endurance will certainly improve stamina, but how does it transfer to keeping us aware of our body’s position in every day life? While you’re reading or hearing of our aging population’s increased risk of falls that could change their lives forever, what are you doing to prevent that from being you?
As one of the 10 physical skills CrossFit hammers home, balance is tested and improved through a multitude of movements we train. We work stability now for what could be life saving stability later.
