YoungMomsYoungMoms Community
This local nonprofit provides comprehensive academic, vocational, and parenting support for pregnant and parenting young women in our area. After a challenging year, they have received nearly double the number of referrals. Women in the program are demonstrating more acute and complex needs including economic hardship, increased domestic violence, virtual learning challenges, and housing/food insecurity. YoungMoms is a crucial support system for these women!
How can you help?
What’s Cooking with YoungMoms is a virtual fundraiser (to be held on May 8, 2021 at 10 am) offering access into the kitchens of some culinary all-stars. The event features cooking demonstrations, insider instruction, and original recipes from several acclaimed chefs. You’ll even see our own Beau shaking up some brunch cocktails with Sovana!
Purchasing tickets for this event, participating in the virtual silent auction, or grabbing a Talula’s Brunch Bag are all ways you can support this awesome local organization.
